I did always get myself some healing power though… I only really had my first real challenge around the tenth level, all before that was passed easily. I usually complain about games being too harsh or unforgiving, but Space Pioneer actually is the opposite way. I did feel levels were short enough to keep you heading back in for more.Īt times I wished it was a little harder even. Grabbing upgrades along the way, you get better and better and better as you go. It just plays so smoothly once you get into it. Everything is pretty much self-explanatory and this is the big appeal of this game. No incredibly hard control scheme, no complicated ways to fight off enemies, … Just pure and straight forward fun. The charms of this game, it is really easily accessible at all times.

Finally able to spend my coins to upgrade it. It took me quite a while to really get a gun I was comfortable with. While one gun shot at 1 direction, others shot multiple bullets at once. While one gun was quick to reload, others were slow. They will not affect my final score, just saying they did not get my seal of approval.Īnother flaw in my book, but could be considered a charming point, is the way the weapons behave.
